Use a gated movement skill to distinguish an unavailable action from a missed input.
The control field contains a condition
Cold Station lists movement, aiming, weapon selection, interaction and a dash that must first be unlocked. That last condition matters when planning an escape or crossing a gap in the running game. Pressing a familiar key is not evidence that the skill is currently available. Check the interface’s actual unlock state before treating the dash as part of your immediate options.
Keep interaction distinct from combat
The supplier describes rescuing scientists and hacking terminals as well as fighting creatures. Those activities may require different actions. When you reach an apparent objective, read its prompt instead of assuming that aiming or firing advances it. The listed interaction key provides a clue to investigate, not proof that every nearby object is usable or that a particular rescue sequence exists.
Review the action you intended
If a maneuver fails, ask whether the skill was unavailable, the input was mistimed or the destination was unsuitable. Those explanations call for different corrections. A later weapon or skill unlock also changes the comparison with an earlier attempt. The note has not verified the advertised level count or the intensity of the horror setting. It offers a way to read a conditional control and an objective prompt, not a tested station route or a guaranteed combat method.
